FAMT organized a one-day “Web Hackathon 2026” for Third Year Information Technology (TE IT) students with the objective of providing a practical platform to apply their web development knowledge using modern web technologies. The hackathon encouraged students to design and develop scalable, secure, and innovative web applications capable of addressing real-world challenges through teamwork and creative problem-solving.
A total of 56 students participated in the event and were grouped into teams to work on assigned problem statements. Throughout the hackathon, participants collaborated to analyze requirements, design effective solutions, and develop functional web applications within the stipulated time. The event fostered technical innovation, logical thinking, project planning, and effective team coordination while exposing students to real-time software development practices.
The hackathon provided an enriching learning experience by bridging theoretical concepts with practical implementation. It enhanced students’ technical competencies, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in developing industry-relevant web solutions, while promoting innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning.
