Hope Foundation and Research Centre is a Registered Public Charitable Trust / Society established by Late Shri Pralhad P. Chhabria in the year 1979 and is pursuing its charitable objectives in the fields of education, research and development, medical assistance and community outreach programs for over 46+ years to:
- create a sustainable and valuable learning environment for students
- promote gender equality, respect and empower the women
- support causes that have strong social impact
- enhance the living standards of the underprivileged communities
- churn out technological solutions through research for betterment of quality of life

Hope Foundation in association with the IEEE India Council and Women In Engineering Affinity Group, IEEE Pune Section has instituted the Pralhad P. Chhabria Awards from the year 2017, in memory of Late Shri Pralhad P. Chhabria.
