The Department of Information Technology, in association with the FAMT ACM Students’ Chapter, organized a Donation Drive for Avishkar Institute on 30 March 2026 as part of its outreach initiative.
Avishkar Institute has been serving mentally disabled individuals in Ratnagiri for the past 35 years. Students from the IT department actively participated in the drive and donated groceries to support the institute and its residents.
The initiative encouraged students to contribute towards social welfare and community service while developing compassion and social responsibility. Participants expressed positive feedback about the activity and suggested conducting similar donation drives regularly in the future.
