Scaling New Heights of Resilience & Leadership!

The First Year Engineering Students’ Association (FESA) at I²IT proudly hosted an inspiring interactive session titled “What’s Your Everest?” with Mr. Samir Nicholas Patham, Program Director at MILE, Pune.

Mr. Patham had expressed his excitement about engaging with the bright minds of I²IT and conducting a session focused on how adventure sports can foster essential life skills like leadership, communication, and resilience.

Drawing from his own experiences on Mount Everest — especially the intense challenges faced during the 2015 earthquake and avalanche — Mr. Patham delivered a powerful session. He shared real-world lessons in resilience, perseverance, and decision-making, highlighting how these qualities are critical not only in adventure sports but also in academic, personal, and professional journeys.

Throughout the session, our FE students explored powerful lessons in resilience and leadership, and gained an understanding of the grit needed to conquer their personal Everests.

The event ignited a spirit of ambition, encouraging students to dream bigger, persevere through challenges, and lead with purpose.

We continue to climb towards our goals — one step, one challenge, one triumph at a time!
