HISTORIA HUNT : DECODING PAST

Department of I²IT E&TC had organised a Quiz Competition “HISTORIA HUNT : DECODING PAST” on the occasion of Independence Day. The event was scheduled on 11th of August and the awards were given on the 15th of August.

There were 9 teams for the competition. Each team consisted of 5 participants. The respective teams were given names after the Indian rivers- Yamuna, Kaveri, Ganga, Narmada, Saraswati, Chandrabhaga, Sharayu, Sindhu and Godavari.

The Quiz Competition consisted of 3 rounds. The first two rounds were held on an online platform Kahoot!, and the last round was conducted with the visuals on a screen.

Round 1
In the first round, the first 5 teams with highest score were selected among the 9 teams.
Winners of first round :- Yamuna, Godavari, Kaveri, Saraswati and Narmada.

Round 2
The second round was concluded with 3 teams selected for the final round.
Winners of second round :- Yamuna, Kaveri and Saraswati.

Round 3
Team Kaveri emerged as the winner of the competition with Team Yamuna as the Runnerup.
