The instructors walked us through what is linux, why it was invented, who was the inventor and what his visions were. Then they walked us through architecture of the linux operating systems. The importance of layered architecture of linux was emphasized. Post lunch instructor walked us through what is virtualization, how it could be beneficial and how to install a linux based Ubuntu OS on our own devices using virtualization softwares like Oracle VirtualBox and VMware. Installation was done and queries of the students during the installations were resolved by the instructor.

On second day instructor started with basic commands on linux like ls, cd, cat and so on. Moving on with complex instructions were introduced to do superuser level tasks. Piping was introduced. User management in linux was explained in detail. During the explanation the hands on tutorials were also done for better understanding. During the hands-on tutorial, the students hand a lot of doubts which were later resolved by the instructors. The sessions was interactive hence a lot of student engagement was seen. The instructor were noticeably clear with the concepts hence they delivered content was received at maximum rate by the students.
