The “Know your Domain- Web Development Edition” was the fourth successful iteration of GDSC domain specific event series. The event started out with a brief history about the websites and how they work, followed by busting a few commonly prevalent myths about the domain. After discussing in detail about the Front-End and the Back-End architecture, the speakers then emphasised the importance of Web-development and the bright future it holds as an ever growing career. Following with how to be a successful Front-End, Back-End or a Full-Stack developer with the help of a detailed road map. With the help of a live demonstration we talked over hosting your own website and use cases of API’s. On top of that the speakers shared the links of free, quality structured resource material available across the internet.
