Social Outreach Programs @ Jambawade Village

Students from Hope Foundation’s I²IT participated in a National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp at Jambawade Village in Maval Taluka. The focus of this camp was participating in various social outreach programs like substance de-addiction awareness, cleaning the village, girl education encouragement and building earthen dams for water conservation.

During the camp, competitions were held for students from local schools followed by teaching sessions in Science and Maths. Students and villages benefited from this campus. A lot of help and encouragement was provided by the Gram Sarpanch Mrs. Sarika Gojage and other members of the Grampanchayat. Under the initiative of Digital India, an app is being developed that the villagers share and seek required information.
