Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, organized an activity-based workshop on the Climate Skill Programme and Environmental Awareness in association with the Ratnagiri Sub-Campus of University of Mumbai for the Academic Year 2025–26 on 09 February 2026 at the institute campus.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. P. Y. Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Ratnagiri Sub-Campus of the University of Mumbai and Master Trainer (British Council), along with Prof. Rujuta Jadhav (Facilitator) and Mr. Ashutosh B. Parker (Field Assistant). The programme aimed to create awareness about climate change and encourage sustainable environmental practices among students.
The session included interactive presentations on climate change, group discussions, and activity-based learning exercises. Participants actively engaged in team-based tasks designed to enhance their understanding of environmental challenges and sustainability practices. A total of 41 students enthusiastically participated in the workshop.
The workshop successfully promoted environmental awareness and motivated participants to adopt environmentally responsible behaviour. The interactive format of the programme made the session both informative and engaging.
