Mandvi Beach Cleaning Drive

A Beach Cleaning Drive was successfully organized at Mandvi Beach on 8th April 2026 by the students of the Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) department. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, nature conservation, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.

Students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the drive by collecting plastic waste, bottles, wrappers, and other non-biodegradable materials from the beach area. Equipped with gloves and garbage bags, the volunteers actively contributed towards creating a cleaner and safer environment.

The initiative highlighted the harmful impact of pollution on marine life and ecosystems while encouraging sustainable living practices and community responsibility. Through this activity, students gained practical exposure to social service and developed a stronger sense of environmental commitment and teamwork.
