NSS Residential & Special Camp

The NSS Units of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology and International Institute of Information Technology successfully organized Residential and Special Camps for the academic year 2025–26 with the aim of promoting social responsibility, leadership, and community service among student volunteers.

The NSS Residential Camp of FAMT was conducted at Pawas Gram Panchayat, Ratnagiri, from 4 January 2026 to 10 January 2026. The camp was inaugurated by Vice Principal Dr. Milind Yadav, Sarpanch Mrs. Chetana Samant, Gram Sevak Mr. Vinod Gurav, Prof. U. K. Samant, Prof. Aarati Mulye, and Prof. Sachin Gurav. Around 49 student volunteers actively participated in various activities such as cleanliness drives, construction of small dams, chart preparation, bouquet making, cultural programmes, social activities, and fun games, contributing towards community engagement and teamwork.

Similarly, the NSS Unit of I2IT organized a one-week NSS Special Camp at Khamboli village in Mulshi Taluka, Pune district, from 21 January 2026 to 27 January 2026 under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Varpe, NSS Programme Officer, and Dr. Vaishali Patil, Principal of I2IT. The camp focused on developing leadership qualities, social awareness, and community participation among volunteers. During the camp, students interacted closely with villagers, understood rural challenges, and conducted various awareness and community development activities for the betterment of the village.

Both camps provided students with valuable opportunities to serve society, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and strengthen their commitment towards nation-building and social welfare.
