On 18th January 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, NSS volunteers undertook a cleanliness and maintenance drive at the KT River, focusing on environmental conservation and water management. The activity involved constructing artificial barriers at specific sections of the bridge to help retain water and support the river’s ecosystem.
With great dedication and teamwork, the volunteers demonstrated physical strength and strong coordination, reflecting the core values of the NSS unit. Their efforts not only improved the cleanliness of the riverbank but also spread awareness about the importance of water conservation.
This initiative significantly contributed to sustaining the river’s natural flow and emphasized the volunteers’ commitment to environmental responsibility and community service. It was a meaningful effort that showcased unity, collaboration, and the spirit of social responsibility.
