Process Engineering: From Concept to Execution

FAMT organized an expert lecture on “Process Engineering: From Concept to Execution” on 20th March 2023. Mr Sahil Yadav, an alumnus of the Chemical Engineering Department from the 2019 batch. He is currently working as a SPPID Admin, Worley India Pvt. Ltd. was invited to interact with Third Year and Final Year Chemical Engineering students, to understand basic concepts of process engineering and its application in chemical engineering.

The lecture was arranged in collaboration with the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) and began in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr Nitin Kanse and Prof. P. A. Giri. Mr Sahil Yadav shared his journey in FAMT and informed his industrial experience as a process engineer as well as the challenges ahead. He also shared the concept of process engineering and the skills required to be successful in the chemical industry. Final-year Chemical Engineering students coordinated the event successfully. Ms Purva Vanjari hosted the program, and all faculty members of the Chemical Engineering Department were present for the event.
