Opportunities and Challenges in Chemical Industries

FAMT organized an expert lecture on “Challenges and Opportunities in Chemical Engineering” on 20th March 2023. Mr Nikhil Waghela, an alumnus of the Chemical Engineering Department from the 2018 batch. He is currently working as an Executive Engineer, Aarti Industries Ltd. Boiser, was invited to interact with Final Year Chemical Engineering students, to prepare undergraduate students of chemical engineering about various skills required in industry and opportunities.

The lecture was arranged in collaboration with the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) and began in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr Nitin Kanse and Prof. P. A. Giri. Mr Nikhil Waghela shared his journey as a student in FAMT and hostel life. He also shared the importance of academics and the challenges in industry. Final-year Chemical Engineering students coordinated the event successfully. Ms Purva Vanjari hosted the program, and all faculty members of the Chemical Engineering Department were present for the event. The event was attended by 21 students.
