The Board of Student Development and NSS of International Institute of Information Technology, Pune has organized Run for unity on the birth anniversary of Iron man Sardar Vallabhai Patel.The student has participated in the program. The birth anniversary of late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, October 31, is celebrated every year as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). The celebration of Ekta Diwas was introduced by the Government of India and inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The intent is to pay tribute to late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was instrumental in keeping India united.
The run for unity is arranged from the Principal office to the main gate of the institute where students and staff have participated. The importance of run for unity is explained to the student. The thought of sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is explained to the student. The National integrity pledge has been taken by students and staff.
