Talk on Women’s Health: Challenges in the 21st Century

FAMT organized a talk on ‘Women’s Health: Challenges in the 21st Century on 08th March 2021 on the occasion of ‘Women’s Day Celebration’ through an online platform.

Dr S V Chougule, HOD EXTC, Prof. R R Kulkarni, Prof. A. A. Chavan, and other lady faculty members of the EXTC Department. and girl students from EXTC dept. were present for the event. The program started by welcoming Chief guest Dr Pallavi A Kadam. Dr S V Chougule welcomed chief guest Dr Pallavi A Kadam. Prof. R R Kulkarni introduced the chief guest.

Dr Pallavi A Kadam gave information about Women’s Health: Challenges in the 21st century.  She explained common women’s health problem such as heart diseases, depression etc. She specifically directed the attention towards a healthy diet, nutrition for a healthy life. She also explained the advantages of  Yoga for mental and physical fitness. The session was very informative. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. A A Chavan.

This program served the following objectives:

  • To explore the importance of Women’s Day
  • To create awareness about “Women’s Health: Challenges in 21st Century”
