Two-day Training Program on Raspberry Pi and IoT

FAMT organized a “Two days Training Program on Raspberry Pi and IoT” on 9th and 10th November 2020. Mr Niraj Kapase, Assistant Professor, DKTE Ichalkaranji, was the resource person for this training program. He has completed M.S. in Mobile and Satellite Communication from University of Surrey, UK.

The program was inaugurated by Dr S. V. Chougule, HOD E&TC. She welcomed and introduced the resource person.

Following topics were covered in the training program:

  1. Different models of Raspberry Pi
  2. Installation of OS and configuration of Raspberry Pi
  3. Interfacing of LED, LCD, Seven segment display
  4. Interfacing of various sensors like IR sensor, PIR sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor etc
  5. IoT applications

The program was conducted using Google Meet platform. It was attended by 62 students from E&TC, IT and Electronics branch. The training program helped students to be familiar with Raspberry Pi and its applications in IoT.
