On the occasion of the 151st Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Department of Mechanical organized a Beach Cleaning Campaign at Mandavi Beach in association with FAMT ISHRAE & ASHRAE Student Chapters and Ratnagiri Municipal Council on Monday, 13 September 2019. A total of 130 student members participated in cleaning the beach a day after Ganesh Visarjan.
The campaign helped to clean the beach which was full of flowers, idols, decoration material after Ganesh Visarjan. The students worked earnestly and did a commendable job of cleaning the beach. It was coordinated by FAMT ISHRAE & ASHRAE Student Chapters Faculty Advisor – Prof.Hemant V Chavan.
