Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, organized a Career Exploration Workshop on March 25, 2025, from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM for Second- and Third-Year Engineering students. The session featured Mr. Shailesh Vatsaraj, Certified Career Coach from Rankers Brainery, Mumbai, and Mrs. Reshma Kale, Career Counselor from SucceedWithMe, Mumbai, as resource persons.
The primary objective of the workshop was to help students explore career paths aligned with their skills, interests, and aspirations, introduce global career opportunities, and enhance job readiness through practical guidance and ideation activities. Mrs. Kale offered insights into the IELTS test process and emphasized the advantages of learning Japanese and German languages, particularly in the IT sector. Mr. Vatsaraj shared the latest job market trends for 2025 and stressed the importance of projects and internships in gaining real-world experience and applying academic knowledge. The session also included an interactive segment where students took the OCEAN personality test, gaining valuable understanding of their personality traits—Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism—which are essential in career planning and personal development.
