Session on PCOD

As per the instructions from the Government of Maharashtra, a Health Awareness Program was organized to empower female students through knowledge and awareness about key health issues. The session focused on Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), mental health and illness, and the importance of early identification and intervention. This initiative was conducted by the Women’s Development Cell (WDC) of Finolex Academy for female students, staff, and faculty.

Purpose of the Event:
The primary objective of the program was to empower female students with essential knowledge and awareness regarding their health, with a particular focus on PCOD and mental well-being. The session aimed to educate participants about the causes, symptoms, and management of PCOD, along with strategies for maintaining good mental health.

By providing practical insights and promoting awareness, the program encouraged participants to take proactive steps toward their well-being, recognize potential health challenges early, and seek timely support. Ultimately, the initiative sought to equip female students, staff, and faculty with the knowledge and confidence to lead healthier, more informed lives.
