Machine Learning and AI for Computer Vision using MATLAB

FAMT organized an add-on course on “Machine Learning and AI for Computer Vision using MATLAB” under the banner of the IETE Student Forum (ISF) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

The course aimed to:

  • Introduce the fundamentals of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the context of computer vision using MATLAB
  • Provide hands-on experience in implementing image processing and object detection models
  • Enable students to apply ML and AI techniques to real-world computer vision challenges

Mr. Ankit Kumar, Application Engineer at MathWorks, conducted interactive hands-on sessions covering Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and AI. These engaging sessions bridged theoretical concepts with practical implementation, equipping students with valuable skills for real-world applications. A total of 23 TE EXTC students attended the session and shared positive feedback on their learning experience.
