The Women Development Cell (WDC) at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT) is dedicated to promoting the well-being of female students, faculty, and staff while addressing gender-related concerns and advocating for equality.
In alignment with this objective, WDC organized a seminar on “SAKHI” One Stop Centre, Ratnagiri, an initiative by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra. The seminar was held on 17th January 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in C1/6 for faculty, staff, and female students of FAMT.
The session aimed to highlight the importance of the facilities provided by “SAKHI” One Stop Centre, Ratnagiri, and to create awareness about the Stree Shakti Portal, launched by the government. The portal serves as a resource hub, offering information on cybercrime, legal assistance, medical aid, and other essential support services for women.
