FAMT organized a Cyber-Awareness Seminar on 7th April 2023 at Paranjape Agro Product Private Limited, MIDC, Ratnagiri.
This program is specially designed for all workers from the Paranjape Agro Product Private Limited factory. In this program, the second, third and final year EXTC students explained the importance of Cybersecurity along with practical examples and various methods scammers use to trap people who unaware of the latest technology.
The seminar helped the workers of Paranjape Agro Product Private Limited, Ratnagiri to get insight of the various scams such as Cyberstalking, Password cracking, Phishing, Credit card fraud, UPI frauds, Card Skimmers, scams using QR codes etc. with real-time examples. The workers of the factory showed keen interest in the interactive session.
This program served the following objectives:
- To educate employees about the threats that lurk in cyberspace.
- To inform employees about security risks and how to avoid them.
- To get familiar with Different types of Cyber Crime and how to take help from government bodies such as INDIA’s cybercrime department for protection.
