FAMT conducted an online Seminar by Dr Sanjay Patel on Basics of Electric Vehicles for the students of Mechanical Engineering. The seminar introduced the students to the basics of electric vehicles and their future perspectives. Dr. Sanjay Patel shared the history of EV development in India and explained the need for EVs and their benefits and drawbacks compared to conventional internal combustion engines. Further, he elaborated on EV driveline components and factors to be looked at the time of EV purchase. Battery charging and swapping technologies were also discussed along with the technical parameters.
The seminar was attended by 61 students.
