In collaboration with Civil Hospital, Ratnagiri Hope Foundation’s FAMT hosted an organ Donation Awareness Programme on August 30, 2016. It was arranged as a part of the Organ Donation Campaign in Maharashtra from August 30, 2016 – September 1, 2016. Dr. Vikar Kumre and Dr. Rajashree Davale from Civil Hospital, Ratnagiri delivered a seminar for the students and faculty members about the importance, necessity and process of organ donation and transplantation. Many students and faculty members were present for this programme.
As a part of this awareness programme, the presentation was given by the doctors on Organ Donation. The Essay competition was conducted in college and the topic for essay competition was ‘Organ Donation: Necessity of Today’s Age’. Many students participated in competition.
