On 30ᵗʰ September 2024, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, successfully hosted the “Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam” plantation program. The event aimed to raise environmental awareness while encouraging participants to honor their mothers by planting a tree in their name, symbolizing care and nurturing.
A total of 23 volunteers, including staff and faculty members, actively participated in the event. They planted saplings across the FAMT campus, contributing to a greener environment while dedicating each tree to their mothers.
This initiative emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and personal responsibility, drawing a parallel between nurturing a tree and the love provided by a mother. Participants pledged to care for the saplings, ensuring their growth as a lasting tribute to their mothers.
The “Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam” program left a meaningful impact by instilling a sense of environmental responsibility and emotional connection, making it a memorable experience for all involved.
