International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT) Pune celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and youthfulness, following the traditional format observed every year. Recognizing the historical significance of January 26, 1950, when the Constitution of India came into effect, our college commemorated this day as a symbol of our nation’s sovereignty, integrity, and unity.
Various events and activities were organized at I²IT to mark this historic occasion, fostering a profound sense of patriotism and pride among students and staff members alike. The celebration served as a reminder of the values enshrined in the Constitution and the collective responsibility to contribute to the development of a vibrant and progressive India.
Similarly, FAMT celebrated Republic Day graced by Dr. S. B. Kulkarni, the national flag was unfurled, accompanied by an inspiring address to the faculty, staff, and students. Dr. Kulkarni emphasized the importance of cherishing the dream of ‘Vikasit Bharat’ and upholding the principles embedded in the Indian Constitution. He highlighted the pivotal role of engineers in societal development, urging everyone to draw motivation from the exemplary deeds of leaders and freedom fighters.
Adding to the patriotic fervor, students presented stirring renditions of ‘Zenda Geet’ and various patriotic songs, evoking a deep sense of national spirit. The celebration resonated with the sentiments of every Indian, making this Republic Day a truly remarkable occasion at FAMT.
